Drew Blythe Barrymore (born February 22nd, 1975) is an American actor. She has been awarded many awards such as the Golden Globe and a Screen Actors Guild Award in addition to and five Emmy Award nominations and a BAFTA nomination. She belongs to the Barrymore actor clan and the granddaughter of John Barrymore. Barrymore became a popular child actress through her role in E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial. She published Little Girl Lost, her autobiography of her childhood filled with drinking and drug abuse. In the 1990s she appeared in many films like Poison, Boys on the Side and Mad Love. Barrymore had a role with Adam Sandler in a few films, such as The Wedding Singer and 50 First Dates. Barrymore was a star when she was an actress as a child with her part in E.T.
